That term "that's not very Christian of you " is something I hear a lot from atheists and ex Christians. It makes me laugh though as they are admitting that being a christian is a good way to live life without actually realising it ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚.
So technically this means they were deceived into not or no longer following Elohim.... Sad very sad ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Ay Sal Non-beleivers say this because non-believers mistakenly believe that Christians are supposed to be perfect (because they will not acknowledge God). Whereas Christians believe that - God is perfect.

Non-believers judge believers (along with everybody else) according to our works because they are not familiar with the concept of grace, i.e., undeserved favour.

Believers strive in grace but the world is unfamiliar with God and His grace, so when the world observes a Christian stubbing, they may say "That's no very christian of you."

This is really an amazing sentence. What it appears to means is "the substance of your faith is dysfunctional - give up this impossible quest and join the rest of us because unlike the rest of us, God does not exist."

It's actually a gesture of peace, intended to finally end your disagreement (with the person offering it to you) regarding the existence of God. They are literally "resting-their-case" on the non-existence of God and using your transgressive behaviour as their key evidence.

After all, they could say "that's very human of you" but they want to disparage God while (cleverly) not acknowledging Him at the same time.

Non-believers absolutely refuse to acknowledge the God of David however they cannot dispute the existence of His Church and they know who she belongs to:)
